When you subscribe to Dating Doubles, you create a shared profile with another person you choose to go double dating with. As well as being able to upload a shared picture, you will also have a shared inbox and message system which represents your pair. Therefore any message, 'waves', or 'likes' you receive or send will be viewable by your dating double partner. This is the only part of the dating system which is shared.
Your Personal Profile
Your personal profile is completely under your control to edit and display the information you wish. Your profile will be displayed on the same page as your dating doubles partner. What you say in your profile should be agreed between you and dating doubles cannot be held responsible in any way for consequences arising from your usage of shared profiles, or usage by your dating doubles partner. We cannot arbitrate disagreements between pairs about any aspect of your shared profile. If you wish to terminate a connection with a pair, please contact us directly at info@datingdoubles.co.uk.
Account Settings
Your account settings which includes private information such as your email address, your real name and your postcode remain private and are never shared with other members of your site.
Your postcode is used anonymously to calculate your distance from other members. This distance is averaged between you and other member pairs and does not represent exact distances.
All other information in your profile is only used to administer your account and remains private at all times.
Personal Information
The personal profile information which you provide is displayed on the site to registered members and used to help match you with other pairs via a scoring system. You are able to correct, edit, update and amend all information you provide.
Your profile is not visible to non-members and cannot be accessed by anyone else unless they are a member of the site or part of the Dating Doubles organisation or one of its trusted service providers.
You should be careful about the personal information you provide on your profile as this information is published and visible to other members of the site.
Your Email Address and Preferences
We use your email address to notify you of activity which takes place on the site including who has looked at your profile, who has 'waved hello' at you and who has marked that they like your profile.
We also send you emails when members contact you via the profile you share with your partner. Therefore, it is entirely possible you may receive a reply to a message which your dating doubles partner composed and sent. This is how the shared profile operates and ensures transparency between dating partners.
We will also send you information asking you to join the site if you have not got a paid membership, as well as important information from site administrators about the operation of the site.
You can change some of your email preferences from your account settings including: when someone waves hello at you, and when someone likes you.
It is a requirement of membership that you receive any messages other members send you by email and this preference cannot be changed.

Your photos remain yours at all times
The photos you upload to the site remain your property at all times.
